Kettlebell Fitness
Russian Kettlebells are the ultimate tool for overall fitness. A long time training method of soviet athletes, these remarkable weights are used for endurance, strength and overall conditioning. These virtually indestructible weights are compact and offer the ability to train for strength and endurance with only one tool.
Kettlebell training involves compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups simultaneously, and consequently develop strength and muscular endurance throughout the entire body. Unlike traditional bodybuilding exercises that seek to isolate and sculpt a muscle, Kettlebell training requires coordinating several muscle groups simultaneously and seeks to integrate your breathing, movement and alignment along with your ability to control and balance the weight. This multidimensional approach develops a healthy body that is strong, agile and has tremendous endurance.
Our classes incorporate various Kettlebell techniques as well as body resistance training. This fast pace form of training allows you to combine strength and conditioning with a cardiovascular workout.
Classes are lead by Certified Agastu Kettlebell Instructors Jenn Ricker and Andre Pelletier.
